Dr. Florence Mutonyi D’ujanga is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, College of Natural Sciences, Makerere University.
She joined the Department of Physics in 1978 as a Graduate Fellow and has progressed through the ranks within the Department up to the Position of Head of Department, attained in 2003.
During this period, she has taught and supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Electromagnetism, Properties of Matter, Solid State Physics, Mathematical Physics, Atmospheric Physics and Materials Science.
Her research area is Space Physics: Ionospheric Disturbances.
Dr. D’ujanga is also carrying out research in UV effects on the Environment in the Equatorial Region.She is currently the head of the Space Science section that is also blessed to have a SCINDA GPS equipment that is collecting GPS data. For more information.
